ABOUT CROSS REALITY STUDIOS

Cross Reality Studios is an independent storytelling studio created by author Robert Ellis to bring readers cinematic illustrated fiction where science fiction, fantasy, and mystery meet.

I have been writing since 1994. Playing role-playing games first inspired me to create stories of my own. RPGs showed me how richly imagined worlds, meaningful choices, and memorable characters could come together to create an unforgettable experience.

Television series such as Star Trek and NCIS further shaped my appreciation for storytelling. They showed me the importance of character growth and the human experiences that make audiences care about a series and remember it long after the story ends.

Over the years, these influences helped me develop a style that combines speculative ideas, fantasy mythology, mystery, suspense, and grounded human emotion.

Cross Reality Studios is home to original stories for adult and young readers, including The Black Phantom series and a growing collection of children’s books. Every project invites readers into a new world—and leaves them wondering what might exist just beyond the one they know.
